Shifra Zuckerman

Shifra is currently a dietetics student at Rutgers University. Ever since she was little, nutrition has had an important place in her heart. She believes that food has significant power: it not only plays an important part in our everyday lives and our bodies, but it even has the power to heal. Shifra loves to eat plant based, whole foods, with natural ingredients, and don’t forget the dark chocolate! She has been privileged to intern and work with Allison, as she continues to learn so much from her!
During her free time..
-She loves to act during her free time and go to the gym! “I’ve been taking a lot of barre/yoga classes lately..they’re so much fun!”
-Her favorite food item(s).. “Picking my favorite food is so hard! I love the combination of dark chocolate and peanut butter as a treat (or really anything with peanut butter), but as a meal lately I’ve been loving lentil/chickpea pastas!”
-Shifra has been acting/modeling since she was 11 (has been in films and commercials!)
-Her favorite animal is a pig (“I would never in a million years eat one- not only because of how unhealthy they are, but because they are so cute”)
-“I love country music and anything farm-like/rustic”
-“I am obsessed with anything fuzzy (socks, blankets, sweatshirts). I am always wearing fuzzy things”
-Her favorite show of all time is “Friends”

Kyle Anderson

I am a Graduate Student at Kean University, studying Exercise Science. After High School, I moved from Massachusetts to New Jersey and one of the the first things I did when I got here was joining a local fitness center to keep me active. Exercising and learning to eat properly became a love and passion of him very quickly. I recognized the remarkable benefits of this lifestyle and came to the realize that my purpose was to help others discover this. I found my niche during my final year of my undergraduate studies during my volunteer work at Southern Ocean Medical Center – Cardiac Rehabilitation Center. The positive energy I felt when helping the patients was such a profound experience. To know that you can help make a positive difference in someone else’s life is such a rewarding feeling and was the motivation for me to continue my education into Graduate School.

  • My goal is to be a Clinical Exercise Physiologist
  • Currently working on ECG cert and ACSM cert as well!
  • Feel strongly about preventive approaches and that medications are pushed too quickly. Exercising and nutrition is medicine!
  • I recently got into long-distance running.
  • Ran my first half marathon (Fred Lebow Manhattan Half in January. 1:53 time)
  • I am on the Carol M Baldwin Breast Cancer Research running team. Currently training for the NYC marathon!
  • Running has taught me much about patience, persistence, controlling my thoughts, and how to dig deep inside of me and push myself further. To make any positive changes in life, you have to be willing to put yourself in uncomfortable situations.
  • I enjoy being in nature. Hiking, kayaking, camping
  • I love traveling
  • After I graduate, I want to travel to every state and spend time on the West Coast
  • Rather sit and listen to music and podcasts than to watch tv (Unless its football season – GO STEELERS!)
  • Lewis Howe’s School of Greatness Podcast
  • Love meditating and reading self-help books
  • Favorite quote “The more consistently you stay in gratitude and focused on that which is good, the stronger your connection to Source Energy is, and the more quickly and effortlessly you’ll be able to manifest that which is unseen into your reality.” – Jen Sincero

Quinn Hartdorn

Quinn is currently a Graduate Student at Kean University studying Exercise Science where he aspires to be a collegiate strength coach after graduation. Currently a certified personal trainer, growing up very involved in sports and athletics, Quinn became fascinated with how the human body works and performs. This fascination continued when he discovered how proper nutrition care can affect performance and health. Being an overweight athlete while playing in a weight-restricted league at a young age, he quickly learned that improving nutrition status can lead to many positive benefits including higher energy levels, improved body composition, decreased mental fog, and most importantly; improved overall well-being. Quinn is honored to work with Allison and is looking forward to applying what he learns from Allison with his own future clients and athletes.

Quinn enjoys…
-Working with athletes to improve performance both on and off the field
-Traveling and trying coffee from new areas
-Hiking and exploring
-Jeep restorations / automotive detailing
-Bonfires with good company
